Long walk round the beautiful town of Long Melford this morning with her two main furries for Furry Mama.
Had a chat with a few locals.
Calum, was Calum.
Then they went to the antique centre with the hope of finding an inexpensive rug for the sitting room. Failed. Came out with two pieces of furniture instead. One is a seventeenth-century style small table for the new improved sitting room. It is for the hideously large modern television to sit on. It offends Creative Clara's sensibilities having a large telly in such an old room, but she is the one who watches it most! But it sitting on a glass and chrome TV stand. Yuck. So at least now it's on a nice piece of furniture. The glass and chrome one will either go free to a new home, or might just get used creatively in the garden, if Gloria Gardener can work out how. The other piece is a tobacco cabinet. Or in Calum and Creative Clara's heads, a bathroom cabinet. They couldn't find a real bathroom cabinet that they actually liked, so why not?
Pictures will follow when it is organised well enough to be worthy of them. Calum and Baggy now ache from head to toe. But at least they have a comfy mattress to collapse on rather than one that made them ache even more. Busy, busy, busy............
