1) The Domestic Goddess cooking the roast leg-of-lamb on Sunday having completely failed to remove the bit of plastic-paper stuff from underneath it first. Resulting in Clever Bird wondering what the heck the weird black stuff was when The Goddess went to baste it.
2) Gloria Gardener deciding to retrieve the cans from the recycling bin so that she can recycle them in a different way. Creative Clara has decided that they would make perfect pots for Gloria's wall hanging-herb garden. Good plan. Except Baggy just did a comedy "upside down in the bin" trick trying to get the one and only can in there out from the bottom of the bin.
3) The loo seat snapping and instead of replacing it immediately Clever Bird insisting that they save money by using the one in the garden shed. That apart from the fact it has been in various sheds for about nine years, is actually brand new. Baggy then getting a nipped bottom every single time she stands up from the loo.
4) Furry Mama picking up a Minty Mutt poo in a bag. Except Hormonal Hannah was away with the fairies and managed to get it all over her hand.
5) Creative Clara taking her notebook with her on Furry Mama's walk so that she could write down great ideas for her novel, before Hormonal Hannah makes her forget them. Except she left the pen at home.
Clever Bird was however a proper clever bird yesterday. The lawyers for her Mum and Dad's estate had told her that she would need to pay some taxes that would amount to over £7,500! She asked a couple of questions; made a couple of suggestions. Three lawyers went off and had a conflab. Realised that Clever Bird had a point. She now needs to pay £500 to get some legal changes made and the £7,500 is irrelevant! Good girl Clever Bird. But it makes her wonder what she is paying £250 an hour for..........
