Baggy's got that Sunday feeling.

Baggy was so exhausted last night after all the excitement and then stress of yesterday, that she went to bed at 9.00pm last night and didn't get up until 10.00am! Clever Bird had forgotten that Calum is going to work tonight (in fact he just left), so it's been a short day. But Freda Fretter was so concerned about Wesley's safety yesterday, that she made Baggy take Grotty Groom to go and check on the horses. As they're now on their new routine, they were out enjoying the sunshine.

Furry Mama took Minty Mutt down to their paddocks. Grotty Groom took treats (as always) and a grooming brush, so that she could give Wesley a brush in the paddock. Clever Bird thinks that he thought grotty must have come to take him in, because he looked up and started to walk over to her, then changed his mind. "That's okay Wessles, I'll just check your water", said Grotty, as she could see one of Joey's water buckets, upside down on the wrong side of the paddock! It has been very windy. Grotty switched the water on, to top up Wesley's trough and grabbed a bucket full, to top up Joey's buckets. "Ah, I've just realised that you don't have my bridle. Can I have a treat then Mum?" said Wessles, as he sauntered after Grotty who was struggling with the bucket of water. "Me too", said Joey as he knocked Calum out of the way to try to get to Grotty.

Grotty and Calum put the Boys' fly masks on, as although it was incredibly windy, Wesley still had watery eyes from the flies. He clearly wanted it on as it's the first time this year he's worn it, but he stood in his huge paddock waiting for Grotty to put it on him. Bless. Grooming done. Treats fed. Grotty and Calum went and watched the dressage competition for a while before heading home.

The Domestic Goddess rustled up a healthy chilli con carne. It went a little wrong when Clever Bird realised that there were no kidney beans, but thinking on her feet, The Goddess chucked in chick peas, which Baggy has decided she prefers to kidney beans anyway. A bit more cooking followed, so that Calum could take healthy food to work with him. Now Baggy's on her own with the home furries, while poor Calum works through the night. Creative Clara has a task to do though, as Clever Bird just noticed that Baggy has sold another product from her little Etsy shop Realuv. This one's off to America too! As it's a glass perfume bottle, she'd best pack it very carefully.........
