Day 24 - Hormonal Hannah needs to Back Off!

Baggy's been awake since 5.00am. In the end, Clever Bird decided that Calum was right, Baggy might as well get up rather than lie there trying to get back to sleep. Not helped by the fact that it's one heck of a day in Britain today, effectively deciding whether we are to go to war or not. It strikes Clever Bird that it is one of those lose, lose decisions that has to be made. But whatever is decided things are going to change dramatically in this little country of ours and in many more. It's a very sad world that we are all living in at the moment. Baggy is old enough to remember having constant bag checks and security checks when growing up, especially when in London. She was also in town on more than one occasion when terrorist attacks occurred and was rather close to two major ones; the Hyde Park and Harrods attacks; just awful. Freda Fretter can't help but worry about the state of our world and feel helpless trying to know what if anything we ordinary citizens can do about it. Freda Fretter feels that perhaps Creative Clara shouldn't be wittering on about the gang on such a day, but Clever Bird disagrees. Our lives are our lives and if we start compromising what we do because we are "scared" then surely we are letting the terrorists win.

So, Baggy's up and awake, about four hours earlier than she normally is, so of course Clara had to blog. Hormonal Hannah was the main problem again last night. Wow, she's annoying. She had Freda in a flat spin, worrying about all the things Baggy needs to do today, before tomorrow's surgery. Really, they are not a big deal! She just needs to do stuff that she won't be able to do for a while after the operation: wash her hair, cut her nails, iron some clothes, sort out an outfit for tonight. It's not exactly overwhelming is it, so why are you making it feel as though it is Hannah? She's even got her in a state about going out tonight. Baggy is off for a Christmas meal at a village pub with her Slimming World group. Yes, that is a bit of an oxymoron! Baggy hasn't even vaguely attempted to follow the "rules" in her choice of all three courses, but she was looking forward to it. Now she's worrying about it. What will she wear? Will she be ready in time for the lovely lady who is kindly driving all the way over to pick her up, (Hannah is making Baggy feel bad that she's having her drive out of her way, but Cal won't be home in time). Will she be rubbish company because she'll be worrying about tomorrow? Blah, blah, blah! Stop making Baggy feel pathetic Hormonal Hannah, she is much stronger than you are! Hold that thought Baggy...........
