Day 32 - Well it was always going to be a challenge.

Baggy has been managing to bath without assistance getting in and out for a few days now, so she figured it would be okay to risk one, even though she's in the house on her own. She got in. Water way too hot! She tried to leap out. Forgot her arm. Bashed it on the taps. Stepped out too fast. Slipped. Landed on her bottom. At least Clever Bird managed to break the fall with her left hand, not her right. Got the (slightly hysterical) giggles. Cooled the water down. Got back in. Lovely. She was just getting back out again, slowly and cautiously, when someone started knocking on the front door. Minty Mutt went into full, very loud, guard dog mode. Baggy managed to get her dressing gown on. Freda Fretter called to Minty to "shut up". He carried on. Baggy dripped downstairs. Furry Mama attempted to negotiate a still barking Mint, trying to stop him from leaping out of the door to "greet" the delivery man, while Baggy tried opening the door left-handed. The chap was just disappearing off having left a very large box on the doorstep. Clever Bird is not sure whether he was more worried about the massive Alsation that was trying to get to him, or the hairy dripping wet legs sticking out of the bottom of Baggy's dressing gown. He stared at her legs, more than the dog.

Baggy asked him to bring the parcel in as she'd had two operations and couldn't lift it. Clever Bird suspects that he wasn't too keen on entering. Pretty sure he was more worried about a hairy naked Baggy than the still barking Minty Mutt. Baggy attempted to sign his little machine. She definitely can't write.

Back up to the bathroom. Baggy got dressed. Well almost. She's having to "swing free" as there's no way she can do her own bra up. A slightly rattled Clever Bird then decided to brush Baggy's teeth. She cannot state strongly enough that it's not advisable to brush your teeth with haemorrhoid cream! Mind you Freda Fretter was more concerned that it could have been the other way round. What makes it worse though, is that this is the second time that poor Baggy has been subjected to this error by Clever Bird. Maybe it's time to get a toothpaste in a different coloured tube. Clearly it's going to be a long day.........
