Day 28 - Settling in in Kent.

Baggy's arm is incredibly swollen today and rather bruised. Her hand too is swollen and keeps getting pins and needles in it, but it's functioning quite well. Clever Bird is struggling to get Baggy to keep it elevated which doesn't help, but that's largely down to Creative Clara insisting on blogging. She is writing future instalments of Hairy Biker Hen's blog so that she can just press "publish". Not easy with Pickle dog lying on the keyboard.

Baggy is already feeling guilty that she now has Calum and her sister trotting around after her, but that's Freda Fretter for you. It's all very well offering to help, but one-handed drying up is likely to result in smashed crockery. Even one-handed table clearing was precarious. Thank goodness going to the loo is okay. Baggy is grateful for the small things. She can wipe her own bottom left-handed, clever eh? It's annoying though that having got to the stage where Baggy had recovered enough from the Lawrence surgery to make her own cup of tea, once again she can't safely use a kettle. It's amazing how "connected" all the bits of your body actually are. Lifting right-handed put a bit of a strain on the Lawrence wound; but lifting left-handed puts a huge strain on it. Very odd.

Calum has managed to get Baggy night lights, so Hormonal Hannah might let her sleep tonight without panicking once Calum has gone home and she's on her own. But having bought Debby an aerial booster, he tried to fit it only to realise it needs an extra aerial lead. Heaven forbid that that should be included. So he's gone off again into the wilds of Kent to buy one. Oh well, at least if it works we might actually be able to watch television. Creative Clara is missing her soaps and reality shows already. It's rather hard not being able to do anything and not having the telly to watch. Bloggy, blog, blog, thank you for keeping Baggy sane.......
